Scoring rubrics are posted for CPS elementary selective enrollment programs for Kindergarten, 1st-8th grade, Gifted Programs for English Learners and 7th/8th grade Academic Centers.

Scoring Rubrics for 9th grade entry have changed quite a bit for Fall 2027, with a maximum score of 640 points from 7th grade GPA and NEW 8th grade HSAT (PreACT 9 Secure) testing.
Applications for 2027-2028 Kindergarten through 9th grade CPS programs are open from Sept 9 – Nov 13, 2026 via the Enrollwise Portal.
Notifications will be released on Feb 12, 2027 for 9th grade offers and Mar 12, 2027 for Kindergarten through 8th grade offers.
