CPS has been beefing up its school search tools, and the latest iteration can be found at https://go.cps.edu/search. You can input any address, find its assigned neighborhood elementary and high schools, determine your CPS Tier, and find schools within a certain radius. You can also filter by:
- Grades served (PK, Elem, Middle, High School)
- SQRP Rating (1+ through 3 and “inability to rate”)
- Program type (magnet, open enrollment, IB international baccalaureate, magnet cluster, selective enrollment, etc),
- Program group (world language, scholastic academy, fine & arts performing arts, and geared toward high schoolers: culinary & hospitality, media & communication arts, military & service learning, etc).
You can also compare up to 4 schools and it will clearly show you the above areas as well as culture, safety, attendance rates, diverse learners, etc.
